Pre-Order Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box

We strongly recommend you pre-order your copy of Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box before the game’s release date on September 25, 2009. Not doing so would be a Diabolical mistake (see what we did there!).

The closer we get to the release date and the more pre-orders that are taken the more expensive it’s going to get, and if you don’t pre-order Professor Layton 2?

Then forget it you won’t be able to get hold of a copy for love nor money as we can guarantee like the original, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, this game WILL sell out.

Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box, the diabolic box? Who is this Layton Chap?

Professor Layton and the Curious Village was already a hugely popular series in Japan, however it was became a worldwide bestseller literally overnight through the power of the internet and social networks.

Everyone was talking about it, the Professor Layton and his sidekick Luke became a phenomenon and towards the end of 2008 whole websites were setup to find out where you could get hold of a copy as most shops were selling out within minutes of getting stock.

If you still don’t own the it, you should the adventure style exploration broken up by brain teasing mini-games make it a game that is both unique and truly suited to the Nintendo DS.

Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box gets a Worldwide Release

What most people don’t know is that Professor Layton and the Curious Village is only one of a trilogy of games available in Japan, and because of the unexpected worldwide success of the first game the second game in the series Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is getting a worldwide release.

The current UK working title is Professor Layton and Pandora’s box, however in the US they are keeping the name Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box and will be released first in America on August 24, 2009 and then about a month later in the UK on September the 25th.

But watch out for sellers in this country importing the game from America to offer it to us UK gamers sooner!

Difference between the UK and US versions of Professor Layton and Pandora’s box?

The only difference between the UK and the US version of the game will be the name, and the picture on the front of the box, everything else will be exactly the same, and the US version will play on UK nintendo DS and DSi’s.

However what we can expect from both games is the same amazing gameplay and ridiculously challenging mini-games and puzzles that got us all so addicted to the original game.

Here at Gonetomorrow Towers we didn’t pre-order our copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village, it took us two weeks of searching to find it in stock, and we won’t be making that mistake again with the Pandora’s box! Looks like there are some late night head scratching and puzzle solving times ahead!
