If you need a new Wiimote, why not get it with this entertaining multiplayer game, it’s perfect for entertaining family and friends, especially considering that at under £30 it’s virtually the same price as buying the Wii Remote on its own, so really you’re getting a free game, result!

Wii Play Review

Wii Play is a charming example of the classic Wii game. It’s made up of a collection of nine mini games that will test the physical and mental reflexes of players of all ages. Whether it is the shooting gallery bringing back nostalgic memories of Duck Hunt as ducks fly across the screen or picking out miis in a crowd, a whole world of fun is there to be had.

In addition to the shooting gallery and Mii-matching game, Wii Play offers billiards, fishing, air hockey, tank battles, table tennis rally, Mii poses and a cow-riding race.

Critical reaction to the game has been mixed, and while we admit it’s no Super Mario Galaxy, for the price considering it come’s with a Wii Remote on it’s own worth more than some retailers are selling it for, we think it’s great value for money.

It is the two player mode where the game excels, in fact if you’re like us, the competition element alone will keep you occupied hours at a time!

Here at GoneTomorrow.co.uk our favourite game is the fishing mini game, but then we’re just a bit weird like that. The shooting game comes a close second, mainly because of the Duck Hunt nostalgia, and we would like Find Mii if we weren’t just so damn bad at it. We can’t even seem to find ourselves, let alone pick out five different identical Miis from a crowd! Oh well just adds to the fun and longevity, we will be good at it one day!

Although all games are designed for two players, if you can’t scrounge yourself up a friend, you can play the game in single player mode against the computer.
