Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of the most hotly anticipated games of 2009, a follow up to last year’s game of the year Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

You play as a new character Sgt Gary “Roach” Sanderson, but don’t worry Cpt “Soap” McTavish is back as your new commander as you join a multinational anti-terrorist squad set up to stop Russian ultra nationalists.

Many of the details on the game are still sketchy but Modern Warfare 2 promises to include more guns, more action and a greater variation of locations than any other Call of Duty game before.

From the sneak demo that we’ve included below we think that Modern Warfare 2 will be the game of the year, the graphics are breath taking, the attention to detail is insane, with cracks appearing in the ice on when a stealthy infiltration of an enemy snow camp goes awry and that’s just the single player mode!

From the whisphers we’ve heaerd the multiplayer mode is supposed to be even more ground breaking, our fingers are crossed!
