Assassin’s Creed 2 Back Story

Assassin’s Creed II is the sequal to the massively popular Assassin’s creed and is set for a UK release on the 20th of Novemeber 2009.

You play as Ezio Auditore di Firenze yet another nobelman turned assassin ancestor of Desmond Miles (what are the chances!) and set in renaissance Italy, 295 years after the first game in the series.

Like in Assassin’s Creed historical figures from the period will make appearances, including one of Ezio’s close friends Leonardo Da Vinci (how handy!) so you can expect lots of weird and wonderful di Vinici gadgets to pop up along your quest.

Like the last game you’re given total freedom to explore multiple cities, but with greatly improved parkour skills and the new ability to swim.

There’s also a lot more variety in the missions you undertake – the main complaint with the original game- so you’ll never feel you’re just doing the same tasks over and over again.

Combat has also been completely overhauled, with dozens of different weapons and a new health system. While Leonardo da Vinci acts as your very own Q style gadget master this stunning sequel improves on every element of the original.

I bought Assassins Creed 2 off Asda, it still has not arrived after 10 days so its not a game review as im sure its excellent and have now bought it from Tesco. When i do finally recieve it from the illusive Asda ill send it straight back for a refund as i wont give them the pleasure of my money. So please if you actually intend on playing a game steer well clear of Asda.

Hi Justin, sorry to hear about your experience with Asda Entertainment. Did you contact their customer services to enquire what has happened to your game?

It’s no excuse but around Christmas they do get a lot of orders and occassionally one will fall through the crack and a quick email/phone call to chase it up will normally do the job!
