The sequel to the critically acclaimed Zombie game Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2 takes play in the deep South of the USA. Set in a modern day survival-horror universe, the co-operative gameplay of L4D casts four “Survivors” in an epic struggle against hordes of swarming zombies and terrifying “Boss Infected” mutants.

Left 4 Dead 2 adds melee combat to enable deeper co-operative gameplay, with new items such as a chainsaw, which was a surprising omission from Left 4 Dead, frying pan (that makes a disturbingly satisfying clunk when yousmack a Zombie upside the head with it), an axe, baseball bat, and more.

However by far one of the most noticeable changes is that it all takes place during the day, but don’t worry this doesn’t make a Zombie coming at you out of nowhere any less scary!

The gameplay from the original to the next level through sophisticated AI that can change weather effects, world objects, and pathways in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match the players’ performance.
