In Left 4 Dead for Xbox 360 a new and highly virulent strain of the rabies virus has emerged and is spreading through the human population with frightening speed.

It is the Zombie apocalypse, and everyone around you has been turned into shambling flesh-hungry monsters, how will you cope? The few of you survivors that are left need to fight together of you’ll die alone!

The left 4 Dead Game of The Year Edition includes the Left 4 Dead Survival Pack: a collection of new content. Headlining the pack is the new 1 to 4 person game mode, Survival, that challenges players and teams to ”survive” unremitting swarms of zombies on over 10 maps.

Rounds are scored by length of survival, and times will be uploaded to leader boards. Also included in the Survival Pack are two additional Versus campaigns.

Each campaign features 5 maps for additional play of the four-on-four multiplayer game that allows players to compete as Boss zombies Versus the human Survivors.

Although if when you’ve had day dreams about a Zombie apocalypse (lets be honest we’ve all had them) you’ve made yourself one of the walking undead rather than the hero of the story then you’ll be glad to know that in Left 4 Dead you can play as one of four “Boss Infected” as well as one of the survivors.

Each of of which have a unique mutant ability like 50-foot tongue lasso or belly full of methane gas, which although may result in some unpleasant flatulence, will also lead to some pretty interesting game play!

Left 4 Dead is a remarkably fun, excitingly tense game that will make you want to revisit the apocalypse again and again.
